Amitabh Bachchan launches IPS officers book 'Quantam Siege' in Mumbai

Amitabh Bachchan recently launched the book 'Quantum Siege', penned by Additional Commissioner of Police, Mumbai, Brijesh Singh at an event in Mumbai.

The 71-year-old actor applauded Indian police force officers for ensuring law and order in the country.

Speaking at the occasion, Bachchan said, "I feel very proud, we always want to associate police force with law and order and dealing with situation that deals with law and order in the city or in a state, but how wonderful to see officers writing books." The book talks about the life of police officers and the threats and challenges faced by them.

Speaking about the book, the author said it offered an insider's perspective into the lives of people working in police force, who lead an unpredictable life.

 

Meanwhile, Mumbai Police Commissioner Rakesh Maria also graced the occasion, and said he is thankful to Singh for breaking the stereotype image of a police officer with his book.
