Ammunition recovered from house in West Bengal

A joint team of the National Security Guard (NSG) and the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday recovered ammunition in large quantities from a house here.

According to reports, the team recovered 40 hand grenades and five socket bombs from the house of one Rizwan Sheikh.

This recovery comes after two suspected militants were killed and another was injured in the explosion which occurred on October 2 at a house in Khagragarh of the Burdwan district.

Hafez Mollah alias Hasan and two women were arrested in connection with the blast. The involvement of terror outfits like LeT and HuJI is also being suspected.
