Anandiben Patel ties rakhi to Gujarat police personnel

Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel today tied Rakhi on the hands of the police personnel of Gujarat on the occasion of Rakshbandhan, which is being celebrated across the country today.

"Everyone is celebrating RakshaBandhan today and I have tied Rakhi on the hands of disabled children. I have also tied Rakhi on the hands of the police personnel who are working continuously for the safety and security of our state," said Patel.

Earlier, Patel tied rakhi to Gujarat Governor OP Kohli. The first woman Chief Minister of Gujarat also tied rakhis to specially-abled children in Gandhinagar.

President Pranab Mukherjee and Vice President Hamid Ansari have also extended their wishes to the people of the country on the occasion of Rakshabandhan.
