Revealing about his jones, Robert Pattinson said that he actively seeks out reviews that slam his acting and hates watching himself on the screen.

The 29-year-old actor, who reads reviews to a fault, said that it's an awful thing to do, adding "It's an addiction and you only read the bad ones, too, just to foster hatred, self-hatred, self-loathing," News.com.au reports.

The 'Twilight' star, who never considered going for the lead role of James Dean in his latest film 'Life,' explained that he wouldn't even know where to begin.

Confessing that he often gets "embarrassed" at the gym and still worries about his acting abilities, Pattinson said that he is definitely very confused as he spent basically his whole 20s having no idea what was going on.

Pattinson, who feels now that he is gaining a little bit of perspective, noted that he feels like "a fraud" and is in "turmoil" over a need to prove himself, but is not entirely sure what it is.

He shot to fame after his appeared in 'Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire' as Cedric Diggory, before awing the world with his lead role of Edward Cullen in the 'Twilight' films.
