Team England will not be taking its seven star members for the one-day series against New Zealand starting on June 9.
James Anderson, Stuart Broad, Ian Bell, Gary Ballance, Moeen Ali, Ravi Bopara and James Tredwell will not be playing the series along with Chris Woakes, who is injured, reported the BBC.
Joe Root, Ben Stokes, Jos Buttler and Mark Wood are the only players in the team who have played in the drawn Test series against the Kiwis.
James Whitaker, the national selector of the team, said that it was important to point out that none of these players have been ruled out of playing a role for England in limited-overs format in the future.
He added that this squad would allow them to look at a group of players who have performed well both at county and England Lions level in recent years.
England ODI squad which will face New Zealand includes: Eoin Morgan, Sam Billings, Buttler, Steven Finn, Alex Hale, Chris Jordan, Liam Plunkett, Adil Rashid, Root, Jason Roy, Stokes, James Taylor, David Willey and Wood.
