England pace spearhead James Anderson has said that though he is excited about reaching 100th Tests milestone, he wants his teammates to turn their complete focus against the West Indies in the forthcoming series, beginning from Monday.

The right-arm fast bowler would become the 12th England player to reach 100 Tests and is four wickets away from surpassing Sir Ian Botham's wicket-taking record.

Anderson said that the 100th Test was a huge landmark for a player, adding that he was really looking forward to experiencing it, but insisted that the record would take a back seat, the BBC reported.

In the wake of England's woeful World Cup campaign, Anderson said that they want to express themselves and put smiles back on people's faces.

Anderson insisted that they have a really important period ahead trying to get some wins and get some form after a disappointing winter, and therefore concentrating on that is the most important thing.
