17-year-old girl burnt to death by 'revenge seeking' stalkers

According to the police, she was in the bathroom when the assailants locked her in, doused her with kerosene and set her on fire

A teenage girl succumbed to her injuries today after she was set ablaze by two stalkers as revenge in Eluru of West Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh.

The girl Indumathi suffered from third degree burn injuries and was battling for her life.

The two youth, who have been identified as Chinna Vicky and Pedda Vicky, had been harassing her for quite sometime.

She had earlier warned the boys and had also informed about the harassment to her family.

According to the police, she was in the bathroom when the assailants locked her in, doused her with kerosene and set her on fire.

 

An FIR has been lodged under Section 307 of the IPC and a search in underway for the two accused.
