Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandra Babu Naidu called on the Minister of state (independent charge) for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Dharmendra Pradhan, here today.
Matters of mutual concern like proposals to set up a top-class petroleum University, set up an LNG terminal, and a greenfield refinery in the state were discussed.
The issue of setting up a gas grid, and rationalizing of LPG connections with the help of IT-enabled database in Andhra Pradesh also came up for deliberations at the meeting, an official statement of the ministry said.
