In a bid to transform the state into a globally competitive society, the Andhra Pradesh Government will establish the 'Institute for Sustainable Development and Governance' (ISDG) in Amaravati.
The ISDG aims to find sustainable solutions to the key developmental problems of people through creating and exchanging knowledge, designing and implementing high-impact initiatives, and equipping governments and other development organizations to address challenges and measure progress.
As a think-tank and for implementation support, ISDG will undertake the strategy planning for transformation, vision and change management, data interpretation, research, capacity building, consultancy, incubation and mentorship, publications and seminars and have an education unit.
The Advisory Board constitutes of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, a representative of the NITI Aayog, a representative of the United Nations, representatives of globally reputed research and educational institutions and prominent philanthropists.
