British sprinter Mo Farah, who won the 5,000m race on his track return, has been accused of 'swearing' by his rival Andy Vernon at the Diamond League in Lausanne.
Vernon has called Farah 'disgraceful' for snubbing and allegedly abusing him, the BBC has reported.
Farah was so ecstatic with the win that celebrated wildly, punching his chest and shouting with delight as he completed the race in 13 minutes and 11.77 seconds. Vernon finished 15th with a time of 13:47:97.
Vernon said that he went to shake his hand, and he turned his back on me, adding that he had never seen Farah show that much emotion over the line, even when he took his double title at London 2012.
Vernon also clarified that he had no clash with Farah and was absolutely surprised with his behaviour.
