Angelina Jolie believes that directing 'Unbroken', which is based on World War II prisoner of war survivor Louie Zamperini's story, has been the hardest thing she has ever done.
The 38-year-old actress said in an interview with NBC that she had to pitch her butt off to get the project off the ground and had to make phone calls for hours on end, collect data and make different boards.
The 'Salt' actress continued saying that she had to haul the boards in a garbage bag to Universal herself.
The mum-of-six also insisted that she has a huge responsibility to get the picture right because she loves Zamperini, who taught her that resilience and strength of the human spirit is an extraordinary thing in dark times.
