Angelina Jolie has admitted that visiting people in war zones has made her ''happier''.
The 38-year-old actress said that the travelling she does in her work with the United Nations has stopped her worrying about her own problems and made her appreciate the things she has.
She told Psychologies magazine that she has been through a period where she was more concerned with her own problems and pain.
Then she travelled to places where there were landmine victims, she went to her first war zone, to places where you see people in real need, she said.
She added that to be of service to others creates a "happier life.
