Delhi Police on Tuesday disclosed that they have gathered ample evidence in the Anmol Sarna case, and pieced together the narrative of the night of September 13, in which the 21-year-old Non-Resident Indian (NRI) lost his life allegedly after acting on a 'bad trip' of drugs.
"Along with three friends, they had planned to go to Noida to purchase drugs on September 11. After this, on September 13, they planned a drug party. According to this, there are a total of five boys, one of whom is Pranil Shah-in whose house, in South Park Apartment in Kalkaji, this party was held at around 9 p.m. that night," Delhi Police said.
"Around one hour after the consumption of the drugs, the deceased, Anmol was on a bad trip and started behaving very abnormally. After being involved in a scuffle inside, in which he broke a television, Pranil's father sent all five boys outside the house," Delhi Police said.
"After being sent out, Anmol sat outside their house and created ruckus. A neighbour was witness to this, who then called the guard. When he was seen, Anmol started to run, and was eventually taken down by the guard who beat him with his baton, after the deceased failed to come into control," Delhi Police added.
Anmol's family has alleged the involvement of his four friends, who tried to escape from the spot despite their friend being in an injured condition, while Delhi Police said that they have not yet found any direct involvement of the friends in the boy's death.

The Delhi Police confirmed that, till now, six arrests have been made in the case as every possibility continues to be investigated.
"After our investigation, the role of the two guards has become very clear for which they have been arrested. All four friends of the deceased did consume drugs ...so they have been booked under the NDPS Act," Delhi Police said.
The Delhi Police also said that though the final reports are awaited, the boys were likely to have consumed Lysergic Acid Diethylamide (LSD), and added that they had consumed drugs prior to that night, though they were not regular users of substances.
The police claim that Anmol's abnormal behavior saw him engage in a scuffle with two security guards outside the Kalkaji Apartment.
Reconstructing the developments of the tragedy, Delhi Police said that after being seen by the security, Anmol is believed to have tried to run away. He then slapped the guards, which compelled them to beat him with a baton after they failed to calm him down. This resulted in back and button injuries on his body, which have been established by the post-mortem report.
After this, Anmol turned very violent, as he roamed around the road of the apartment and hit his head against the wall, which caused severe head injury.
It is believed that one of the friends of the deceased studies in London, one is an engineering student in the national capital and another one is a student in Noida.
