Editor-in-chief of Vogue, Anna Wintour, has rebuffed rumors that she gave into Kanye West's ardent requests to put his baby mama Kim Kardashian on the magazine's cover.

The 64-year-old fashionista has written in the mag's editor's letter that Kim and Kanye are "defining the culture" and their presence in the world is shaping the way it looks and influencing the way we see it, the New York Post reported.

As for the cover, Wintour insists that it is both charming and touching, and it was entirely the mag's idea.

She continued saying that people may have read that the rapper begged her to put his fiance on the cover, but he did nothing of the sort.

The gossip might make better reading, but the simple fact of the matter is that it isn't true, she added.
