An anonymous hacking group has been launching virtual attacks on Israel government websites for over a week now. Although, the websites have bounced back into operation every time they have been attacked yet the attacks continue as an act of protest against Israeli attacks on Palestinians.

The group calls itself AnonymousGlobo and although it hasn't declared its views openly yet it has been tweeting the hashtag #FreePalestine in support of the Palestinians in Gaza, The Verge reported. Israel's intelligence agency and Ministry of Justice websites have been the most recent victims of the attack.

Anonymous has hacked Israel government websites in the past as well but it is unclear if the group that is knocking the websites down presently consists of the same members as the original. The group has been using the same moniker as its predecessor, the report added.
