Hacker group Anonymous has said that it has hacked into a jihadist website in response to the attacks on the French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo.

According to CNN, the group named many Twitter accounts that they believe belongs to the jihadists.

The hackers posted the information about the Twitter accounts on Pastebin, a website that allows people to post information anonymously online.

The group on Friday announced their operation "#OpCharlieHebdo" declaring war on Islamic extremists.

In their message earlier, Anonymous promised to avenge the deaths in last week's attack in Paris.
