According to reports, the Sports Authority of India has ordered an internal inquiry into the matter

Last month, four women athletes had consumed poisonous fruit in an alleged attempt to commit suicide at the SAI Water Sports centre in Alappuzha. Three athletes were saved while one died a day after she was admitted to the hospital.
