Congress president Sonia Gandhi used Sunday's Swabhimaan Rally at the Gandhi Maidan here to say that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his government have done nothing except drama during the first quarter of their tenure.
"The Modi Government has completed one fourth of its tenure, but they have done nothing except drama in this period. There has been a huge decrease in development schemes for children and women," said Sonia at the rally.
"The prime minister had promised to give employment to one crore people every year, but nothing was done to fulfill that promise," she added.
"Modi Government is anti-farmer...Some people enjoy insulting Bihar, sometime they insult Bihar's DNA. It wants to distribute the land of the farmers among its rich allies," said Sonia.
The Congress president also stressed that the grand old party has always respected the people of Bihar and their talent.
"It is evident in the history that there is a huge contribution made by the Congress Party in taking Bihar on the course of development.
