Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi on Wednesday said that anti-national parties will not only be defeated but punished in the coming Lok Sabha elections.

Modi said that people not only want to defeat anti-national parties, but want to punish them for plaguing the nation.

Addressing a rally here, Modi said: "The country does not just want to defeat the anti-national parties, but the Indian public is in a mood for giving a punishment to political parties who are destroying the nation."

During the speech, Modi listed Congress party, Samajwadi Party (SP) and Bahujan Samajwadi party as anti-national parties.

BJP's prime ministerial candidate also said that robbers of the country were well aware of their fate.

"Those who have been robbing our nation, they very well know what will be their next address. These robbers and destroyers know what is going to happen in the coming days. They are well aware of their fate", said Modi.
