The Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) has ordered authorities to un-freeze former Pakistan president General (r) Pervez Musharraf's bank accounts and assets.
The order from the ATC came after it set August 6 for indicting Musharraf in the Benazir Bhutto assassination case.
According to the Daily Times, the court reinstated Musharraf's frozen bank accounts and assets as he had earlier filed a petition for the recovery of his assets.
Musharraf's lawyer, Ilyas Siddiqui, requested the court to withdraw its earlier order of confiscating his assets.
Siddiqui argued that the assets of a proclaimed offender could not be seized if he presents himself before the court within two years.
