Taking some time off the stage, Zayn Malik has called off his concert at London's Capital Summertime Ball after suffering an "anxiety" attack.
In a statement published on his Twitter handle, the 23-year-old singer said, "Unfortunately, my anxiety that has haunted me throughout the last few months around live performances has gotten the better of me.with the magnitude of the event, I have suffered the worst anxiety of my career."
The 'Pillowtalk' hit-maker further said though he cannot apologize enough for cancelling the show, he will try to do his best to make up to everybody he has let down.
He concluded by saying, "I hope those who suffer anxiety will understand. And I hope those who don't can empathize with my situation."
Malik's last performances include the one on The Voice's finale back at the end of May and at 102.7 KIISFM's Wango Tango near Los Angeles, where in he sang several songs from his solo album.
