Andhra Pradesh Police on Tuesday arrested three men from Prakasam district for allegedly molesting a girl, and filming the incident.
The accused V Sai and B Pavan of Kanigiri, and K Karthik of Agraharam in Kanigiri mandal were friends of the victim.
They filmed the condemnable incident and then circulated the video.
The offence took place in August while the complaint was registered yesterday by the girl's father in Prakasam district's Kanigiri Police station.
Following the complaint police nabbed the three accused.
Subba Rao, Chief Inspector of Kanigiri Police informed that the Police have initiated some awareness programs in colleges.
"As police officials, we are doing our bit to control such things. If such cases get re-reported we will counsel them and not reveal their identity," Chief Inspector of Kanigiri Police Subba Rao said.
Rao remarked that movies and films are majorly influencing the youth, and advised parents and teachers to keep a check on their children.
