An armed citizen killed a shooter at a restaurant in Oklahoma City in the United States on Thursday (local time).
As reported by the CNN, a man walked into Louie's Grill & Bar restaurant and opened fire which struck two people.
As the accused tried escaping from the location, a bystander who was armed with a weapon shot dead the accused.
As per Oklahoma City Police Captain Bo Mathews, the bystander's step is considered to be a defensive action to avoid any further ruckus by the shooter.
Four people sustained injuries in the incident. They have been further admitted to a hospital.
The motive of the shooter is not yet confirmed. Further, the police have issued an advisory to advise against people coming around the restaurant.
Meanwhile, anti-gun protests are underway across the United States where the protestors are demanding to impose restrictions on gun sales and ownership following multiple incidents of shooting including Panama City, Texas high school, and Clayton County in Georgia.
