Arsenal is set to prepare a record transfer deal of 51 million dollars for Liverpool player Luis Suarez even as the Anfield giants ordered their Uruguayan to train away from the first team as a punishment for his outburst.

According to the Daily Star, Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers and the club's bosses are furious with Suarez for his public outburst, where he claimed the Anfield side had 'lied' by breaking their word and breaching his contract by not letting him go.

Suarez had also insisted that Liverpool agreed to let him leave if they did not reach the Champions League and a bid over 40 million pounds came in, adding that he would take his case to the Premier League after the Gunners bid the mentioned amount plus a pound a fortnight ago, having initially offered 35 million pounds.

However, the report said that the Gunners are prepared to pay more than the 50 million pounds Liverpool received from Chelsea for Fernando Torres in January 2011, although Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger admitted that their pursuit of Suarez was on hold at the moment.

The reason may be that Wenger is aware a dispute over the wording of the contract might involve lawyers and could run on for months, ensuring they do not get Suarez in this transfer window, which closes on September 2.

Meanwhile, PFA chief executive Gordon Taylor, who is liaising between Suarez and Liverpool, revealed that if the issue was taken to the Premier League, the forward could remain on Merseyside, saying that Suarez believes that the 40 million-pound amount, if it is offered, gives him the right to go from Liverpool.
