Arsenal has signed a 150 million pound British record kit sponsorship with Puma and the club could use the money from the deal to sign Radamel Falcao.
Puma will replace Nike next season and 100 million of that cash will be made available to manager Arsene Wenger to spend on players.
Falcao made a 51 million pound move to Monaco in the summer, but Arsenal is expected to make a move to lure him to London, The Daily Star reports.
Colombia star Falcao is sponsored by Puma and the sponsorship deal could aid a possible bid.
Falcao is hopeful of playing for Colombia at the World Cup in Brazil after he underwent surgery to repair his left anterior cruciate ligament.
