An Assam Rifles convoy was ambushed today in Khonsa, Arunachal Pradesh, in which an Army personnel lost his life and nine soldiers were injured.
The attack occurred around 2 pm today and a massive search operation was launched to smoke out the perpetrators.
The ambush took place between Lolchang and Ninu village almost 25 km away from Longding town.
Last year, three soldiers were killed and four others were injured in an ambush in Tirap district in southern Arunachal Pradesh, near the Indo-Myanmar border.
