Arvind Kejriwal ill, but working from home says Kumar Vishwas

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Kumar Vishwas on Monday said a team of doctors are monitoring Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who is down with fever and diarrhea, and added that the latter is working from home and is in touch with government officials. "A team of doctors are monitoring him and he is in constant contact with the Government through phone. Health is not on his priorities list. He wanted to go today also, but doctors did not let him and have advised him to take some rest," said Vishwas.

On the meeting Kejriwal and Delhi Jal Board (DJB) officials, Vishwas said, "Well, I am not a member of the government; I belong to the party organisation. But he is in contact with the authorities. He is constantly in touch with his Chief Secretary and Jal Board members, so I think he will take a decision very soon. I have advised him not to take stress."

 

Earlier today, Kejriwal tweeted about his ill health.

"Running 102 fever since yesterday. Severe loose motions. Sad that I won't be able to attend office today," Kejriwal tweeted.

"It was so imp to attend office today. We had planned the water announcement. God, bahut galat time par bimaar kiya," he further tweeted.
