Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party government will seek a vote of confidence on January 2 on the floor of Delhi Assembly.
The assembly session will begin on January 1 and will come to an end on 7.
According to television reports, the election of the Speaker and the Deputy Speaker has been fixed for January 3.
This was decided at a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Kejriwal here yesterday, reports added.
AAP has a tally of 28 MLAs in the 70-member House and its government is backed an eight-member Congress.

Kejriwal, who assumed office yesterday, said, the government will decide on his party's promise to supply of 700 litres of free water to each household and cutting down electricity charges by early next week.
Kejriwal said he has asked officials to work out details in this regard. He said, he will take decision on water by tomorrow and on power, he will be able to say something by Tuesday or Wednesday.
Kejriwal also said that the Cabinet has decided that no minister and official of Delhi government will use red beacon.
He said it was also decided that no PSO and escort vehicle will be provided to officials and security will be given only on threat perception.
