Popular comedian Denis Carnahan, who has recently produced a hit song called 'That's in England' to mock the 'foreign players' selection policies of the English national cricket team, has said that it is unfair to 'immediately' draft people from other places and make them 'represent your country'.
In an exclusive interview with ANI, Carnahan said that there is a lot of tension in England itself about the issue of allowing foreign players to play and last year the ECB extended the qualification period for foreign born players so that non English born players would have to spend more time in England before representing them.
Carnahan also said that had Wimbledon Champion Andy Murray been someone who was born and raised in England, instead of being Scottish, the gloating celebrations of English fans would have been unbearable.
The comedian, who is also a satirist and a songwriter, said that he pens the lyrics for all of his satirical songs himself and gets a lot of response from it.
His new song, 'That's in England' has been uploaded by Cricket Australia on their website and is gaining a lot of popularity.
