Footballer Ashley Cole and team mates, Shaun Wright-Phillips and Adam Johnson, have been accused of breaking the UK advertisement laws after promoting phone firms on Twitter.

The 32-year-old England star and his mates posted images of them holding the new Samsung Galaxy S4 handsets, the Sun reported.

Along with the pic, they wrote that they all have got hooked up with the new GalaxyS4 @TMobile network.

The trio's post was retweeted by T Mobile's official US Twitter account, while Samsung Mobile US sent messages to Cole and Wright-Phillips.

But according to UK regulations, firms must make it clear if they are running an ad campaign.
