The start of the Asia Cup final between India and Bangladesh is likely to be delayed as heavy rain is currently pouring in here in Dhaka on Sunday.

The covers are on the pitch and lights have also gone out due to the storm at the Sher-E-Bangla stadium. The players have returned to the dressing room and the ground staff is currently waiting for the rain to stop.

Earlier, Indian Team Director Ravi Shastri expressed that he hoped to see India continue their fearless brand of cricket in the Asia Cup final.

The former all-rounder also described India's transformation into an aggressive fighting unit as 'gradual but enjoyable one'.

Although India comfortably trounced the hosts by 45 runs in the opening match of the tournament, Bangladesh displayed tremendous amount of resilience as they won three successive matches to advance to the final.
