India have won the toss and opted to bowl first against Bangladesh in their Super Four stage match of the ongoing Asia Cup here at Dubai International Stadium on Friday.
After the toss, India skipper Rohit Sharma said," Played a few games here and it gets better to bat under lights and we like to chase. That's been the team's strength. The pitches are similar to India."
Talking about the team combinations, Sharma confirmed that Ravindra Jadeja has replaced Hardik Pandya in the team after latter sustained a back injury during their group stage match against Pakistan on Wednesday.
Bangladesh captain Mashrafe Mortaza, on the other hand, stated that they were anyway looking to bat first and asserted that it is an important match for the team.
"Would have liked to bat anyway. Sometimes it's good after a bad game you don't have to think much. Today is an important match, first game of the Super Fours," Mortaza said.
Bangladesh have called in Mushfiqur Rahim and Mustafizur Rahman at the place of Mominul Haque and Abu Hider.
