Asian Games: India wins bronze in Lightweight Men's Singles Sculls

India's Dushiant Dushyant has won a bronze medal in the Lightweight Men's Singles Sculls on sixth day of the 17th Asian Games being held in South Korea's Incheon.

Shagun Chowdhary, Shreyasi Singh and Varsha Varman have also won shooting bronze medals in women's double trap team event with 279 points finishing third behind China and South Korea, who won gold and silver respectively.

Additionally, rower Sawarn Singh won a bronze medal in the men's single sculls at the Chungju Tangeum Lake Rowing Center after finishing the 2,000 metre race in 7 minutes and 10.65 seconds behind Iran's Mohsen Shadinaghadeh and South Korea's Kim Dongyong.

 

Minister for Skill Development, Entrepreneurship, Youth Affairs and Sports Sarbananda Sonowal has congratulated all medal winners.

India's total medal tally in the games till now stands at 12 medals, including one Gold, one Silver and ten Bronze.
