London Olympic bronze medalist Yogeshwar Dutt has bagged a gold medal in the Asian Games men's 65-kg freestyle wrestling, ending a 28 year drought for the same.
Dutt defeated Tajikistan's Zalimkhan Yusupov to win the gold medal.
In an exclusive interview with ANI, Dutt's coach Satpal said "There is nothing else a coach would want from his students, and my students have won gold medals in almost every format of the game."
He added "I am very happy with Yogeshwar Dutt's performance. The way he played was outstanding, and only he could do that."
He further added "I have been his mentor, his father, mother, and friend. He is a very strong player, his techniques are outstanding although he was struggling with injuries from a long time, but now he is fine thanks to the blessings and well-wishes from the people of India."
Satpal concluded by saying "I am proud of Yogeshwar, and now we are aiming for the Rio Olympics. We will definitely get a gold medal there too.
