Former Pakistan captain Asif Iqbal has said that it is unacceptable to lose a Test match to Zimbabwe although it was still acceptable to lose to one of the minnows in a limited overs match, and it would take ten years for the team to become a major force in Test cricket again.

In an interview with Pakpassion.net, Iqbal expressed that losing to the current Zimbabwe team in a Test match, after scraping a victory in the first Test of the series must rank amongst Pakistan's lowest points in it's cricketing history.

He said that the result against Zimbabwe must trigger the Board and those with a vested interest in Pakistan cricket into action.

Iqbal added that the responsibility had to be taken by the players and there was a complete lack of world-class cricketers in Zimbabwe.
