The 19th convocation of the Assam Agricultural University (AAU) was held at Jorhat campus last Saturday.
Governor JB Patnaik, Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Food Processing Industries Dr Sanjeev Kumar Balyan and many other dignitaries and students were presented at the event.
All together 843 students who have passed out of the university were awarded their degrees in the convocation.
On the occasion, 22 students were awarded with gold medals and cash prize for their academic excellence.
