British heavyweight boxer Audley Harrison has claimed that he wants to end his career on a high and is eyeing a bout with Anthony Joshua.
Harrison, who was booed into and out of the ring in each of his last big outings, has not fought since he lost to American boxer Deontay Wilder in 2013 and retired more than a year ago.
However, after finishing runner-up in the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house last summer, behind Hollywood star Gary Busey, the 43-year-old believes that the British public is firmly behind him again and he wants one last attempt at showing them what he is capable of, the Mirror reported.
Harrison admitted that he is coming to the end, but claimed that he wants to go out on a high. He said that in terms of his style and team, he has done a lot of reprogramming and just wants to give it one more shot.
The Brit admitted that he has lost two big fights recently against David Price and Wilder, and if one includes David Haye it is three since 2010. So he claimed that most -people think that he is done.
Harrison admitted that he lost his way for quite a while and that passion for boxing, but claimed that it is back now and he wants to close the show on his own terms with a performance that he is proud of. He said that it doesn't matter if he wins, loses or draws, but he would like to go out with valor and do himself justice.
