The Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) will deliver the verdict on the 2006 Aurangabad arms haul case today.
Among the 22 accused arrested in the case, include Lashkar-e-Taiba operative and plotter of the 26/11 terror attack, Sayed Zabiuddin Ansari.
On May 8 2006, a Maharashtra Anti-Terrorist Squad arrested three terror suspects on Chandwad-Manmad highway near Aurangabad and apprehended three terror suspects and seized 30 kg of RDX and 10 AK-47 assault rifles.
The special court framed charges against the accused in August 2013.
However, the trail was staed by the Supreme Court for a temporary period after one the accused challenged the constitutional validity of certain provisions of MCOCA.
The stay was later lifted in 2009.
