Australian Cricketers' Association has blamed Cricket Australia of betraying South Africa on the eve of their three-Test series.

ACA president Greg Dyer hit out at CA and the England Cricket Board for choosing to team up with India instead of teaming up with South Africa in the International Cricket Council power struggle.

Dyer said the world's No. 1 Test team, South Africa, was being victimised by India and had been left stranded by Australia.

South African Cricketers' Association chief executive, Tony Irish, had also expressed similar views when he pointed the Proteas may play very little Test cricket in future against any of India, Australia or England if the ICC revamp takes place according to the wishes of the three powerful cricket nations.

Irish said he was responding to controversial proposals to centralise power among overwhelming market-leaders India and the next two most powerful countries.

He said South Africa could be left playing very little Test cricket against England, Australia and India, affecting the overall credibility of Test cricket.
