The Australian cricket team practiced on Monday ahead of their warm up match against India on Tuesday, and three days before the ICC Champions Trophy begins in the United Kingdom.

This would be Australia's second warm up match after their last one with West Indies on June 1, which they won by four wickets.

India would be playing their second practice match. They beat Sri Lanka by five wickets in the first practice match last Saturday.

While talking about the challenge that Australia faces in the match, cricketer Adam Voges said: "They (India) are the number one ranked team in the world. So, the other day, they had a very good win over Sri Lanka. We all saw that. So, we know they have got their batsmen in form, so it is going to be a tough game. We are looking forward to it."

The Champions trophy is the second biggest one-day tournament played between all the Test playing nations, the first being the World Cup.

Two groups with four teams each participate in a round-robin format in the first round with the top two teams from each group qualifying for the semi-final.

India is placed in Group B, along with South Africa, Pakistan and the West Indies.

Australia is in Group A, along with England, Sri Lanka and New Zealand.
