Avril Lavigne has confessed that she had never been "more clear" about what she wants in her life, after recovering from Lyme disease that had left her bedridden for 5 months.
The 30-year old singer asserted that she was "grateful" for the experience, as she had never had so much time off her life and was now sure that she wanted health, family, love and happiness, E! Online reported.
The 'Rock and Roll' singer said that she felt 80 per cent better now and had made positive changes in her lifestyle, which included her sugar-free diet, organic food and juice.
Lavigne added that she wanted to help people by raising awareness about Lyme disease. She also said that her new song 'Fly', to be released in April, is for a good cause and supports 2015 Special Olympics.
