Despite bad weather conditions and low turnout, the Azadi March entered its fourth day today as Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf and Pakistan Awami Tehrik continued protests in Islamabad.
Tehreek-e-Insaaf chief Imran Khan and Pakistan Awami Tehrik leader Tahirul Qadri have so far stood firmly on their demand that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif should step down and make way for a new government.
On Sunday, Khan declared a "civil disobedience movement" against the Nawaz Sharif-led government, saying the country's future is bleak under the rule of businessmen.
"I have called for the civil disobedience movement for you, not for myself. We will not pay taxes, electricity or gas bills," Khan told his supporters.
