B-Town beauties all praise for 'PINK'

The theatre at YRF studio was graced by the beauties of Bollywood last night as the makers of Amitabh Bachchan-starrer courtroom drama 'PINK' decided to hold a special screening for all the leading ladies of the tinsel town.

Spotted at the event were Kangana Ranaut, Yami Gautam, Dia Mirza, Prachi Desai, Elli Avram, Saiyami Kher and others.

The ladies even took to their Twitter handles to shower their words of appreciation for the Shoojit Sircar produced flick.

"A MUST WATCH... #PINK .. Thank u @ShoojitSircar @SrBachchan #speechless," wrote Yami Gautam.

"The purity n honesty in ur art is beyond comprehension sir @SrBachchan.Cant get ur magic out of my mind sir.. #Pink @ShoojitSircar," tweeted Surveen Chawla.

 

"Can't get #pink out of my mind...Thank u once again @ShoojitSircar," added the 'Hate Story 2' actress.

"Just watched #PINK @SrBachchan at a loss of words. Every time you came on screen, I got goosebumps. You truly are a legend. Contd...." wrote Sonal Chauhan, adding, "still can't get #PINK out of my mind. Each of u was flawless. Thank u 4 this film @ShoojitSircar @tapseepannu @Imangadbedi @KirtiKulhari."

Dia Mirza uploaded a clip with the team of 'PINK,' and tweeted alongside, "Celebrating the fantastic team of #Pink! A socially relevant, entertaining and necessary film of our time.#MustWatch."

"Just saw #PINK ....@SrBachchan outstanding as always and @ShoojitSircar dadaaa u rockkkk," tweeted. Sanjeeda Sheikh

"Just watched #PINK ! Stellar performances and direction! Hats off to the entire team. People, watch this one!!We need films like this!" wrote Shalmali Kholgade.

One of the leading ladies of the flick Tapsee Pannu too took to Twitter to share her feelings, "Moist eyes,shaken hearts and tight hugs from the ladies of the industry last night made us even more impatient.Waiting for THE Friday #PINK"

Although Big B was not present at the screening, the rest of the cast including Taapsee, Angad Bedi, Kirti Kulhari and Andrea Tariang were there along with Shoojit.

Big-B however took to his Blog to post an apology for not attending the special screening.

"Could not visit the theatre at YRF for the screening of the film PINK for all the leading ladies of the Industry .. an idea Shoojit mooted, but shall have to handle on his own .. my regrets and apologies .." he wrote.

Directed by national award winning filmmaker Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, 'PINK' is set to hit the theatres on September 16.
