B-Town celebs to Headline IPL Opening Ceremony

The Indian Premier League is as much about the cricketing action on the field as it is a carnival for the fans. But the 10th edition of the IPL shall see eight separate opening ceremonies at the home grounds of the eight franchises.

Music composers Sachin Jigar, who have come back with a bang this year with four back to back releases in their kitty, will be headlining the Rajkot leg of IPL Opening Ceremony on the April 7, 2017. Joining them in the performance will be none other than the sauve performer Tiger Shroff.

The highly acclaimed music duo state, "We are putting together a carnival like performance which we have never done before. We will be inculcating a lot of Gujarati culture and tradition in our act in sync with the spirit of this year's IPL. We would also love to give a chance to local talent- musicians and dancers at this platform and be a part of our performance crew as the whole world would be watching and we are proud to be torch bearers of our Gujarati clan."

 

Sachin Jigar will contribute full albums for films like 'Meri Pyaari Bindu', 'Hindi Medium', 'Bhoomi', 'Haseena' and 'Reload' this year with their recent inning of getting Parineeti Chopra to sing in 'Meri Pyaari Bindu' creating waves in the industry.

Singer Benny Dayal, who is working on his EP this year and recently was one of the judges on 'The Voice India', will be headlining the Bengaluru leg of IPL Opening Ceremony on April 8, 2017. Joining him in the performance will be none other than the pretty Kirti Sanon.

Benny Dayal states, "I'm a huge fan of cricket and for my performance I have planned a multi-lingual act which pays tribute to the different regions of India and how crickets unifies the entire nation just like music."

The tenth edition of the Indian Premier League is set to witness as many as eight opening ceremonies before the action kicks-off in home cities of various teams. This hasn't happened in any of the editions so far and is certainly one of a kind plan.
