"Our 'swachhta abhiyan' (cleanliness drive) will be taken from Haridwar and Rishikesh to more than 600 districts across the country. We will work on these three things; Shikshit, Swachh aur Swasth Bharat (educated, clean and healthy India). Around 1,000 volunteers will participate in the cleanliness drive from Kankhal till Har Ki Pauri," Baba Ramdev told ANI here.

He also said that Haridwar and Rishikesh will soon be turned into model places and the entire country will take inspiration from them.

"We will turn Haridwar and Rishikesh into model places and the entire country will take inspiration from it. Every week I will dedicate two hours to the cleanliness drive, all our supporters, volunteers and workers will do the same," said Baba Ramdev.

The Yoga guru was among the nine people invited by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take the 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan' forward and had pledged to take the mission forward. He also exhorted citizens of the country to contribute in their own way to make India cleaner.
