Lipika Mitra, who has registered a case of domestic violence against her husband and AAP leader Somnath Bharti, on Wednesday responded to his bail, saying it doesn't minimise his offence and cruelty.
"Getting bail is his (Bharti's) legal right and the court must have given it realising that the investigation is over and they don't need him in judicial custody," Mitra told the media here.
"But getting bail doesn't minimise his offence and cruelty," she added.
When asked what she planned to do next, Mitra said she would see the order and then decide with her lawyer what to do.
Bharti's lawyer, Vijay Aggrawal, however, asserted that his client must get justice, despite the system being against them.

"Bharti has got justice. He has been granted bail. The matter was heard at length yesterday and was reserved for orders today," he added.
Aggrawal also said that he would be moving an application for bail before the trial court and expected Bharti to be out of jail by tonight.
"The court has also imposed several conditions and I will ask my client to comply with all of those conditions," he added.
