State Minister Balasaheb Thorat on Monday backed Maharashtra Assembly Speaker Nana Patole's reported statement that the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government is a combination of 'Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh'.
"Some of the BJP leaders have said about the coalition MVA government that 'a combination of three, spoils any work'. Speaker Nana Patole has rightly said that our government is a combination of Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh and it will run smoothly," Thorat said while addressing a press conference here.
Patole had also remarked in Shirdi yesterday that the MVA government has the support of a substantial number of MLAs which is comfortably above the majority mark.
Talking about BJP leaders targeting the MVA government over Wadia Hospital to shut down because the government wants to sell the land to builders, Thorat said: "I want to ask them who is responsible for the losses faced by Wadia Hospital. This loss has occurred in there regime and I will take up this issue in the next cabinet meeting.
