Welsh striker Gareth Bale has agreed personal terms with Real Madrid to seek his world-record move from Tottenham, which is said to be separate from his negotiations with the club regarding the transfer fee.

According to the BBC, all that remains now is for Spurs to formally accept Real Madrid's offer and to agree on simultaneous announcements.

Bale has been linked with a move to Real all summer, with Spurs manager Andre Villas-Boas revealing on Wednesday that the transfer could happen very soon, the report said.

Tottenham has been active in the transfer window themselves, with seven international players signed for a total outlay understood to be nearly 105 million pounds, the report added.
