World-record Real Madrid signing Gareth Bale has scored his first hat-trick for his club during their 4-0 victory over fellow Spanish side Real Valladolid in their La Liga clash at the Bernabeu on Saturday.
With Cristiano Ronaldo once again missing through injury, the stage was set for the world-most expensive player to make himself the Spanish giants' star player, who continued his impressive form in his eighth match in a row since being thrown in against Barcelona in October.
According to the Mirror, the Welsh player nodded in the opener before setting up Karim Benzema to head in a second and he side footed in Real's third before finishing from eight yards late on with his third goal.
Bale takes his tally to nine goals in 13 appearances for Real since his 85 million-pound move from Tottenham Hotspur in September.
Madrid is now temporarily only three points behind Barcelona, who travel to Athletic Bilbao on Sunday, at the top of La Liga, the report added.
