Local Catholic priest in Indonesia has described how the Bali Nine ringleaders sang hymns on the crosses before they were executed.
According to News.com.au, local Catholic priest Charlie Burrows described how the men had been executed in a new way as they were strapped by cable ties with their arms outstretched on what were effectively crucifixes.
Burrows said that they were in a tent a little distance away from the execution place trying to support them as the Australians among the ringleaders seemed to be leading the singing.
He said that the Bali Nine ringleaders sand Amazing Grace and other hymns as well.
Indonesia has declared the executions of the eight Bali nine ringleaders to be "perfect" and a "success" as Australia withdrew its ambassador to Indonesia in retaliation.
